What are RSS feeds?
RSS (Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication) is a web format for delivering and receiving changing web content. It allows users to stay informed by easily having access to content from a chosen site. Meaning you don’t have to go to each individual site or subscribe to email newsletters.
RSS makes staying up to date easy as you constantly have the latest information at your finger tips. The feed is read by an RSS News Reader and then displayed in a manner that is quick and easy for you to read.
A feed contains a summary of content from a particular site and usually gives you the option of view the entire article if you require.
