1. How can I find some general information about the Department of Mines and Petroleum, Department of State Development or Department of Regional Development?

2. What is the starting salary?
The salary is Public Service and Government Officers General Agreement Level 3, which in April 2012 is $60330 per annum plus 9 per cent superannuation.
3. Does the department employ overseas students?
You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to be eligible to apply for the Graduate Program.
4. Does the department recruit mature-aged students?
The department does not discriminate on the basis of age however the Graduate Program is a targeted youth initiative within our Equity and Diversity management plan. The intention of the Graduate Program is to recruit young first degree graduates and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander graduates.
5. How do I apply for the Graduate Program?
Graduate opportunities are posted on the department’s website. You will need to ensure that your written application provides all the information required in the advertisement is received by the department before the closing date and time.

Yes, you are welcome to apply for as many positions available that your qualifications are relevant for, however you need to submit a separate application for each position.
