It is no longer necessary to submit hardcopy mine plans. Instead, they should be submitted in electronic format.
For all online submissions, please refer to the general exemption for minimum requirements of plans.
Ad-hoc File Transfer
The preferred method of submitting mine plans to the Department is using Ad-hoc File Transfer (AFT).
Once your mine plans are finalised, send a short email to email@example.com with the name of the minesite you are submitting plans for. You will receive a response email from the department which will include the upload link.

Managed File Transfer
Mine surveyors can also use the Department’s Managed File Transfer (MFT) system to submit plans. In order to use MFT, you first need to create a single sign-on account (also known as an ex account) with the department. Once you have a single sign-on account, it is possible to submit plans electronically. The following documents may assist you in this process:
