The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) publishes a schedule of approved fireworks events, up to two weeks in advance. This is provided as the sudden and unexpected loud sounds of fireworks can stress domestic pets and livestock— causing them to run away and damage themselves or property.
This service is also offered because fireworks may affect some people's medical conditions.

The following list of approved fireworks events is provided for guidance only and is not to be considered as notification of a fireworks event. Start times may vary from those indicated.
While the department regulates for the safe use of fireworks, it does not manage the approved events and information is for guidance only. For specific information relating to any individual display, please contact the event organisers.
