TENGRAPH is a spatial enquiry and mapping system displaying the position of Western Australian mining tenements and petroleum titles in relation to other land information. It gives a current and accurate picture of land under mining activity and is used to determine ground that is available for mineral exploration.
NOTE: TENGRAPH Online requires the installation of a Citrix client receiver. Please visit About TENGRAPH Online for more information.
TENGRAPH® provides convenient links to these departmental systems:
- Mineral Titles Online (Mining tenement),
- Petroleum and Geothermal Register (PGR),
- WAMEX (Mining tenement open file exploration reports),
- MINEDEX (Mine site and mineral deposit information).
Note: The Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) ceased to be a Designated Authority under the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2006 (OPGGSA06) on 1 January 2012.
Commonwealth petroleum titles, acreage releases and pipelines are no longer viewable in TENGRAPH. For all queries regarding administration of Commonwealth titles and pipelines refer to the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator (NOPTA) website. For Commonwealth Acreage Release information refer to the Department of Resources, Energy Tourism website.
Software Requirements to run TENGRAPH Online
Access to TENGRAPH On-line requires the installation of client software from CITRIX Systems Inc.
Software required to access TENGRAPH Online (PC Windows Users)
Citrix Receiver for Windows (v 4.3) supports Internet Explorer or Firefox on Windows 10, 8, 7, XP, Vista, 2003, 2008, 2008 R2.
Software required to access TENGRAPH Online (Non-Windows Users)
The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety provides only limited support for Non-Windows Users.
Citrix Receiver is available for non-windows platforms.
For users of Apple Mac OS X computers, the Safari web browser is not supported. This support will be provided for users of the Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers.
Support will not be provided for security certificate related problems for Mac computers, where the user has decided not to trust a certificate required for TENGRAPH Online.

TENGRAPH Online Performance (Speed)
The general performance of TENGRAPH Online (drawing of the display on the screen, system responding to your mouse clicks, etc.) is largely dependent on the internet, and is outside our control.
Our computing infrastructure was designed to meet an expected high level of demand. However, we acknowledge that, at times, TENGRAPH Online can be significantly slower than TENGRAPH used on our public counters.
In recognition of this, we have provided an option to display tenements without an in-fill pattern, to reduce the amount of data that is transmitted over the Internet.
If you wish to improve the performance of the system you may wish to discuss the speed of your access (modems, type of connection, etc.) with your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Changing to a higher capacity ISP, or changing to broadband, could also produce an improved performance for TENGRAPH Online.
From an operational perspective, you can also improve the speed of the system by keeping to a minimum the amount of information loaded on the screen by selecting the "Data Load Option" dialog. Perhaps topography, administration and cadastral information is not always essential for your enquiry.
