The enquiry functions allow you to search for tenements under the following categories:

• Tenement General
• Tenement by Compulsory Partial Surrender
• Conversion
• Address for a Holder.

Select one of the above enquiry options under the "Enquiry" menu option. You can then search for tenements search using the filters or criteria listed below:

• Tenement type
• Tenement Holder (see below)
• Tenement Status
• District
• Key Tenement event types (applied for, commencement, Expiry, Death etc
• Date range to apply to event types
• Special Indicator

The result set will show tenements and some basic tenement information.  Select each tenement row (by clicking in the grey area of the results - see diagram below) to show additional tenement detail.

 
By selecting a check box next to a tenement and selecting 'Options' you can populate a Tenement Search list or obtain a pdf report.

Selection of Holder

To apply the tenement holder criteria to your enquiry, click on the 'Change Tenement Holder' button in each Enquiry.  Enter the first few characters of the company name or individuals surname (the more characters you enter the more refined you result set will be) and press 'Search'.

The names that satisfy your criteria will then be displayed.  Select the row of the required holder.

Once the name is selected, you can ask the system to further refine your search for tenements by showing only tenements that are currently in that name, formerly in that name (ie Transferred out) or both. You can also show tenements only in the name you have selected or where a name change has occurred, any other associated name.
