Mineral Titles Online Help

Navigate Mineral Titles Online (MTO) by clicking of the desired functions in the home row numbered 1 through 6 in the example image below.

1. Home: This is the landing page of the application, notices and messages are periodically posted here. A link to the cart (7) can also be found here should you have any transactions there weren't checked out as well as a statistic dashboard (8).

2. Tenement Register: Click on this to search for and view a title register, the number of a title will need to be known (for example E70/1234). For more information on each of the tenement register tabs click here.

3. Online Transactions: This section contains the various transactions and applications under the Mining Act 1978 and Mining Regulations 1981. Some non-title related transactions such as registration of a power of attorney can also be found here. For more information about each of the online transactions click here.

4. Enquiry: This tab houses the various enquiry tools.

  • Tenement General (used to run general tenement queries such as finding what titles a particular holder owns).
  • Tenement by Compulsory Surrender (used for Section 65 surrender research).
  • Conversion
  • Address for Holder (used for viewing the addresses a holder has registered with the department).
  • Application Advertising (links off to a site where the department advertises new tenement applications as well as other general notifications such as Surrenders, Withdrawals and Applications for Exemption from Expenditure).
  • Warden's Court Noticeboard (links off to a site where transactions that are going / have gone through the Warden's Court can be tracked and researched).

5. Admin: This section contains the Confidential Access section that is used to maintain accesses of other uses should you have Confidential Access Administrator rights. Click here for more information about Confidential Access.

6. Help: Contains a link to this help page and a link to handy contacts within the MTOL application.

7. Checkout: A checkout option will be displayed if you have any items that have been added to cart but have not been checked out, click on this section to initiate the checkout process. To delete these transactions instead head into the Online Transactions (3) and click on the "remove from cart" icon ().

8. Statistic Dashboard: The statistic dashboard breaks down current tenement types in force in Western Australia, other statistics can be viewed by clicking on the graphic.
