User Access Review - (External)
The User Access Review is an administrative task for all SRS company administrators to review existing users on their mine operation. A bi-annual (March /September) system generated alert requires a review of the security roles (Endorser, Representative and Administrator) for the relevant sub systems.
Further information can be found under User access review.pdf
Alerts
The system generates an alert for one or more sub systems.
The company administrator for more than one, will receieve an alert for each sub system.
Conducting a review
What is the difference between revoke and retire?
Revoke is the removal of the security roles so the user will no longer have access to that sub system. Retire user is when the person is no longer with the company and the person is to be removed from all existing roles. Company Administrators can only revoke roles for their SRS sub systems.
When should a user be 'retired' from the mine operation?
Only once all their security roles for SRS sub system's have been 'revoked', should a user be 'retired'. The user will no longer have access to sub systems for that mine operation.
When a user is retired from the mine operation what happens to the ex-account?
The user can continue with the SRS ex-account and can be used to obtain security roles for other mine site operations / exploration companies in SRS.
