Add a New Activity
You are required to create a unique Mine Activity Reference for reporting purposes.
Once a Mine Activity Reference has been created, continue to use it for that specific activity only.
If there is more than one activity of the same type (eg two waste dumps) you are required to create unique Mine Activity Reference for each of them. It is suggested you create names that are meaningful to you so that they can be used consistently throughout.
To view the MRF Regulations click here.
Enter Activity Disturbance and Rehabilitation Data
Enter all disturbance and rehabilitation data in hectares in decimal numbers of 2 to 4 decimal places. As data is entered, the Rehabilitation Liability Estimate (RLE) ($) is calculated and displayed against each entry.
Once the Mine Activity Reference has been created, you are required to provide details relating to that activity. Information to be entered against the fields is shown below.
Select [Save Form & Exit] and you will be returned to Step 3 in the MRF Submission which will display the totals on the tenement of the recorded activity details.
Enter "No Assessment Information"
Select [Save Form & Exit] and you will be returned to Step 3 in the MRF Submission which will display that the "No Assessment Information" option was flagged.
Note: Once an Activity has been created, the Mine Activity Type and Mine Activity Reference cannot be changed - only the disturbance and rehabilitation details recorded against it can be edited.
If the Mine Activity Type and / or Mine Activity Reference are incorrect please delete the incorrect Activity and add a replacement via [Add New Activity].
You can copy existing Activities from a previously submitted AER or MRF. The 'Copy Forward' feature will only be available if:
- the AER has been submitted and Activities have been recorded for the Tenement or
- Activities have been recorded for the Tenement on a prior MRF.
If you have indicated "No Assessment Information" on a prior AER or MRF, the submission will not be listed under the 'Copy Forward' feature.
If you have indicated "No Assessment Information" on all prior AER and MRF, the 'Copy Forward' feature will not be available.
Select the appropriate AER or MRF and click [Load Assessment Information].
All Tenement Activities on the specified AER or MRF will be copied into this AER, provided the Mine Activity Type is still valid.
