The latest edition of the Environment eNewsletter is now available online.
Read all about the department’s latest policies and guidance material released for public comment in the final quarter of 2017. Key initiatives include a new Notification of Operator Form developed for mining titleholders.
Keeping with the department’s commitment to stakeholder engagement, there is still time to provide feedback on the draft Mining Proposal and Mine Closure Plan for Low Impact Mining Operations form, and the draft guidance note on Environmental Non-Compliance and Incidents Reporting. More information on how to do this is available in the newsletter.
