The Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) has committed to enhancing its online systems to provide a better regulatory service to its clients as part of its Digital DMP initiative.
New functionality in Safety Regulation System (SRS) will modernise the way hygiene monitoring data is captured by allowing mining and exploration companies to directly input sampling results for airborne contaminants, noise and biological agents via SRS. In addition, the new functionality will allow for online management of exceedances and standardise communications between industry and the regulator.
Training on the new online process for submitting samples and exceedances within SRS will run in the morning.
