The June edition of the Environment eNewsletter is now available.
In this quarter’s newsletter, operators are reminded about the Environment Plan Summary submission process where operators are required to submit a public disclosure document at the time of their Environment Plan to improve government transparency.
The eNewsletter includes an article on DMP’s Programme of Work electronic forms for exploration which are due to be phased out during the course of 2017, with spatial lodgment then becoming mandatory.
The Environment Division also shares an update on the Abandoned Mines Program, including the rehabilitation efforts and remedial actions at Ellendale, the pilot sites at Black Diamond Pit Lake and the Pro-Force Plant Site.
To keep up with all the latest environmental news from DMP as well as upcoming events and achievements, subscribe now to the newsletter.
Current and past editions of the Environment eNewsletter are available on the department’s website.
