A limited number of tickets are still available for the prestigious 2015 Golden Gecko Awards night on Thursday 29 October.
Department of Mines and Petroleum Executive Director Environment Dr Phil Gorey said sales for this year’s event will close on Friday 23 October.
“We have seen very strong ticket sales for the Golden Gecko Awards ceremony event this year,” Dr Gorey said.
“There are still some tickets remaining and I encourage anyone wanting to attend to purchase their tickets as soon as possible as numbers are limited.”
Mines and Petroleum Minister Bill Marmion will present the Golden Gecko Award to the 2015 recipient at the event, which runs between 5.30pm and 8.00pm.
The eight finalists will also give presentations on their projects at a seminar event between 3.00pm and 5.00pm.
The seminar component is a free event open to anyone interested in hearing more detail on this year’s projects. However, as seats are limited, RSVPs are essential for this part of the event.

Eight companies are in the running for Western Australia’s prestigious Golden Gecko Awards for 2015, which are this year being held at Fraser Suites in East Perth.
