WA’s top ranking as a destination for mineral investment features in latest edition of Fieldnotes.

The latest edition of Fieldnotes is now available online with the lead article highlighting Western Australia’s high ranking as a destination for mineral investment in the Fraser Institute’s 2016 worldwide survey of mining companies.
Key survey results for WA include first place in the Best Practices Mineral Potential Index and first place in Geoscience Databases plus third place in the Overall Investment Attractiveness Index.
Fieldnotes also reports on the new version of the WA Geology application for mobile devices, and the online availability of historical Paleontology Reports.
New mapping and geochronology of the Eastern Zone of the Lamboo Province, Halls Creek Orogen, suggests a link between the Kimberley and Tanami regions making for some interesting reading.
