Annual Licence Payment Notice (ALPN)

Annual licence fees can be paid online with a credit card via the payment portal.

Payments are not accepted past the final payment date shown on your notice.

Licence Renewal Payment Notice (LRPN)

Licence renewal fees can be paid online with a credit card via the payment portal.

Payments are not accepted past the final payment date shown on your notice.

To make a payment via credit card, via the payments portal, please enter the Payment number as printed on your Notification.

Three month grace period

If the annual licence fee or renewal fee is not paid by the due date it can be paid within three months after the due date. However, the payments subject to a late fee.

Late fees

Annual Licence Payment Notice

If the fee is paid within the three month grace period after the due date, the late fee and licence fee must both be paid in full on, or before, the last day of the grace period (final payment date) to avoid suspension or cancellation of the licence.

Licence Renewal Payment Notice

If the fee is paid within the three month grace period after the due date, the late fee and renewal fee must both be paid in full on, or before, the last day of the grace period (final payment date) to avoid the licence expiring.

Non-payment of fees

For non-payment the following may apply:

  • The licence may be suspended or cancelled.
  • Any activities conducted on unlicensed sites may affect commercial arrangements such as leases and insurance, and may lead to prosecution.
  • Delivery of dangerous goods to sites that store or handle quantities in excess of manifest quantities is illegal if the site is not licensed. The Department may take action to prevent deliveries to an unlicensed site.

If the licence is no longer required, please complete the surrender of licence notification available on the Department website.

Licence renewal payment notice

Non-payment of the renewal fee will result in the licence expiring. If a licence is still required a new application must be lodged.

Licence transfers

Licence transfers only apply to current licences. Where a transfer occurs during the three month grace period, the incoming licensee will be responsible for the payment of any outstanding fee that may be unpaid.
