The video wrap-up of the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety’s Awards for Excellence Ceremony is now available.
The department’s night of nights saw more than 240 guests from industry, community and government come together to celebrate the innovations and advances that have been made in safety, environmental management and community partnerships across the Western Australian resources sector.
Five projects were recognised for their exceptional use of innovative thinking, including projects focusing on mental health, worker safety, strong community partnerships, environmental awareness and mine site rehabilitation.
The consistently high standard of entries reflects the strong commitment resource companies and their local communities have when working together to achieve positive outcomes.
