The Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) has developed a Partnership Guideline which outlines the principles supporting the selection and management of program partnerships.
The guideline will be of interest to all stakeholders interested in DMP’s Abandoned Mines Program and will assist anyone fulfilling the obligations contained within the Abandoned Mines Policy.
The guideline ensures a consistent and transparent approach for the identification, development, implementation, administration and evaluation of partnerships associated with the Abandoned Mines Program.
The consultation period for the guideline attracted feedback from a broad cross-section of Stakeholders. DMP appreciates the contribution of all individuals and organisations which provided feedback.
Overall the guideline was well received and supported. Copies of the guideline and stakeholder feedback are available on the DMP website.
