Nominations for the 2020 Resources Sector Awards for Excellence extended to 30 April

Due to the potential disruption to Western Australia industries caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) has extended the nomination period for the Resources Sector Awards for Excellence to 30 April 2020.
The awards provide an excellent opportunity to share the innovative and outstanding projects, which demonstrate to Western Australia and the world that our resources sector is not only sustainable, but also achieves the environmental and community balance expected of industry.
The 2020 Resources Sector Awards for Excellence may be delivered in an alternative format based on the advice from the Federal and State Governments, and DMIRS will provide updates as they become available.
Nominations for the 2020 Resources Sector Awards for Excellence close at 5.00pm on Thursday, 30 April 2020. More information about the awards, past winners and guidelines for nominating can be found at www.dmirs.wa.gov.au/excellenceawards.
