Just over a week to go until the gala night celebrating the inaugural Community Partnership Award and the 25th Golden Gecko Awards

There’s only just over a week to go, so be sure to secure your tickets for the Department of Mines and Petroleum’s (DMP) prestigious Awards for Excellence evening.
The gala event brings together DMP’s inaugural Community Partnership Resources Sector Award, which recognises constructive community partnerships providing positive outcomes, and the renowned Golden Gecko Awards for Environmental Excellence, now in its 25th year.
Mines and Petroleum Minister Sean L’Estrange will present the Awards for Excellence at a ceremony at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth on Thursday, 27 October.
Selected Golden Gecko projects will be showcased during a seminar before the formal awards ceremony to give guests a greater understanding of why they were chosen as finalists.
Free presentations of these projects will be delivered from 3-5pm.
Community Partnership Award finalists will also showcase their projects during a seminar before the formal awards ceremony to give guests a greater understanding of why they were chosen.
Free presentations will be provided from 2-5pm.
The presentations will be followed by registration and pre-event drinks from 5-6pm.
The awards ceremony starts at 6pm sharp and will be followed by drinks and canapes.
Tickets for the ceremony are $50 and can be booked online now. Bookings close Thursday, 20 October.
