Application Advertising
The annual report provides an overview of the Department of Mines and Petroleum operations and compliance with legislative and Government policy requirements.
The Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) is a State Government initiative that aims to encourage exploration in Western Australia for the long-term sustainability of the State's resources sector.
Tenement Application Advertising Pilot Project
The Mining Industry Liaison Committee (MILC) has initiated a pilot project to publish Tenement Application Advertising on the Departments website as part of the processing an application. The pilot will run in parallel with the existing 'mandatory' newspaper based advertising process. The pilot commenced on the 14th February 2011 and will run for an initial period of 3 months.
